Gas Compressors
A gas compressor is a device that works to reduce the volume of a gas while simultaneously increasing its pressure. There are several types of gas compressors, such as a centrifugal compressor and a diaphragm compressor. By using a gas compressor, companies are able to reduce the volume of a gas, making it easier to transport hazardous or high-purity gases. With Pressure Products Industries, Inc. (PPI), we aim to serve your compression needs, your budget, and your safety concerns, offering you the most reliable compression systems available on the market today.
How a Diaphragm Gas Compressor Works
A group of three thin metal membranes are used to help compress the gas. This membrane group moves back and forth as a result of hydraulic pressure generated by a crankshaft and a piston. Contamination is eliminated as the metal diaphragm group completely isolates the process gas from the hydraulic fluid.
Benefits of PPI Gas Compressors
